Date of Passing: Dec 01, 2007
Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryVICTORIA CAROLINE BROWN December 11, 1911 December 1, 2007 Victoria has lost her battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, and leaves their family and friends to mourn her passing. She was a woman of many interests. She loved her family, her friends, her flower gardens, dancing, playing cards, dinner parties, riding fast horses, and the latest fashions. You would have to get up early to catch Victoria without her lipstick and nylons. The arrival of each grandchild and great-grandchild brought her great joy. All her grandchildren were taught to play cards at an early age and Grandma never let them win just because they were young. As her health failed, playing cards was one of the few activities she could still enjoy. Victoria was a longtime resident of Dugald. Then, she and Dad spent a happy retirement in Morris. They moved to Winnipeg just prior to Dad's passing. Victoria's family would like to thank Dr. Spence and the staff of Pinawa Hospital. Your care, compassion and good humour was greatly appreciated. Also, our deepest gratitude for the many hospital visits from friends and volunteers. Cremation has taken place and a service for the immediate family is planned.
